Advancing Entrepreneurship with Small Business Lending in India by Hardika Shah, CEO Kinara Capital

Keynote by Hardika Shah, CEO Kinara Capital, followed by a Q&A session during our annual impact investing conference in Geneva.

Micro and Small businesses contribute some 40% to the national GDP in India but remain underserved by banks. This ‘missing middle’ gap is currently valued at $200+billion by The World Bank. Kinara is addressing this problem with a “high touch/high tech” model and has disbursed more than 30,000 loans to help thousands of entrepreneurs in India.
Kinara Capital provides financing of USD $2,000 to $20,000 to small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) in India to grow and hire.
